Prescott’s Best Business Recognition Nomination Form

Rules and Eligibility:

The purpose of the Prescott’s Best Business Recognition Program is to recognize Prescott’s businesses for their outstanding achievements, longevity, contributions to the community and commitment to Prescott’s quality of life. 

Eligible businesses must have a physical Prescott address.  Nominations from unincorporated Prescott locations (i.e. Williamson Valley, Groom Creek) are permitted. 

Any person or entity can make a nomination.  Self-nominations are encouraged. 

All nominations must be submitted by completing a nomination form.  Forms are available at Prescott City Hall and online at www.prescott-az.gov or www.prescottbiz.com

Incomplete nominations may not be considered. 

Recipients of recognition will be randomly drawn from all qualified submissions. 

Businesses may receive only one designation per calendar year. 

All decisions are final. 

Recognition recipients and their nominees may be invited to receive their certificate in a public meeting or setting, such as a City Council meeting.  Such an invitation is at the discretion of the City of Prescott.

Recognition recipient business representatives and/or their nominees may be invited to appear on a promotional video or audio to be used by the City of Prescott.  Such recipients, businesses and nominees shall not be entitled to any compensation as a result of said activities. 

Recognition recipient business representatives and their nominees agree that their name, likeness and statements may be used by the City of Prescott for promotional purposes.  Such recipients, businesses and nominees shall not be entitled to any compensation as a result of said activities. 

Recognition recipients, their representatives and nominees agree that the City of Prescott and its agents may not be held liable for any misuse, misrepresentation or damages resulting from this program.

The City of Prescott reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this program at any time.

In no way shall the recognition of a business through this program be considered an endorsement or preference by the City of Prescott.  The purpose of the program is to recognize Prescott businesses; and not to endorse them.
