One of the key design features is the incorporation of the 1910 railroad trestle bridge that is adjacent to the site. The City of Prescott and the developer have partnered to restore this incredible piece of Prescott’s history and make it accessible to the public as a scenic walking path over Granite Creek.
In response to the growing tourism industry in Prescott, a new 100-room Hilton Garden Inn project has broken ground at the intersection of Montezuma and Sheldon Streets. The project is considered a catalyst project, as it had opened the door for additional redevelopment of the surrounding area. Some of the related projects with this site are improvements to the Granite Creek trailhead and corridor, redevelopment of the Sam Hill Warehouse into a convention space, redevelopment of the APS yard by Prescott College into a new green space, inclusion of a splash pad, and new outdoor event space.
